The Ministry of Public Health of Uruguay opened online registration to apply a third dose against coronavirus for people who have already received two doses of Coronavac or for those who have certain underlying health conditions.

The booster in all cases will be with a jab by Pfizer.

Out of a population of 3.5 million people, Uruguay has so far vaccinated over 2.5 million (73 percent of the total) with at least one dose and 2.23 million (64 percent) with two doses.
