COVID RAE Argentina to the World

Three million vaccines to arrive in Argentina this week

COVID, the pandemic that changed the world

The Ministry of Health confirmed the arrival of AstraZeneca and Sputnik V jabs. The same sources ratified also that "the first dose does not expire".

More than 650,000 AstraZeneca vaccines have reached the country, while a new shipment of Sputnik V arrives this Wednesday afternoon, bringing one million additional doses to the Argentine rollout.

Juan Castelli, a high health official, told reporters this week that the Government's strategy was "to prioritize the first dose", but he assured there are ongoing negotiations to step up the arrival of the second dose of Sputnik V. The booster of the Sinopharm vaccine, in turn, has already been applied, official sources said.
