WEEK 15 RAE ARGENTINA TO THE WORLD

New Argentina sounds

Cochecama
De la mano (By The Hand)

Cochecama is a band that originated in London during a trip of singer and guitarist Federico Caivano. That spirit that merges together local rock and Britpop is present in their debut album that came out in 2015. "De la mano" is their new single. A romantic and dark song, recorded at home during the COVID lockdown. It works as a preview of the group's third album, the follow-up to 2018 "Middle Ages".

Sig Ragga
Desfile de Carrozas (Charriot Parade)

Sig Ragga from Santa Fe is one of the most personal groups of Argentine rock. They have been playing for more than 20 years and they have an expansive musical ambition that allows them to create songs that mutate incessantly within themselves. If one had to label them in any way, the old free spirit of progressive rock is the one that fits them best. After the excellent fourth album "Relatos de la luna"(2020 ) , "Desfile de carrozas" is the B-side of their 2021 single called "Palos y balas".

Morsa Light
Soy Yo (It's Me)

Morsa Light is the alias of Mar del Plata soloist Agustín Parodi, who lives in Córdoba. An introspective and synthetic adventure that allows him to create songs of redemption. After two full albums ( the eponymous debut of 2015 and "Playa Franka" of 2018 ) "Soy yo" is part of a series of singles that he has been releasing in recent years. A sincere song that allows you to delve into the feelings of a generation.
