As officially reported, the broadcast company will undergo an evaluation process to define whether it will be privatized or if it may be eliminated.

In Brazil, EBC manages the free-to-air TV channel "TV Brasil", as well as the news agency Agência Brasil, and various radio stations including broadcasters in Rio de Janeiro, capital Brasília and Amazônia.

The project was originally announced in early 2020. The creation of EBC originally took place in 2007, during the presidency of Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. That same year, the company created TV Brasil, which replaced TV Educativa (TVE Brasil).

MEXICO

Since the foundation of Frecuencia UAL, on September 8, 2006, a series of collaboration and exchange agreements were established with radio stations from other countries such as Radio France International, Radio-Canada, Radio Nederland and Radio Exterior de España.

This has enriched the content broadcasts by the Universidad Autónoma de La Laguna (UAL) radio station, the first university cultural radio station in the Comarca Lagunera.

As a result of the accord with Radio France International, the latter’s program “Arts Carrousel” will be relayed by the Mexican university station.

Carrusel de las Artes is the cultural program of Radio France International. Every week, a selection of stories related to music, literature, cinema, performing arts, dance, and photography from France and Latin America is presented.

This program aims to disseminate and promote artistic work in all its manifestations, with special emphasis in France and Spanish-speaking countries. The program is broadcast every Friday at 2:00 pm.

Thus, Frecuencia UAL continues to incorporate quality content, seeking to bring valuable information to an increasingly diverse audience.
