The 12th Aerolineas Argentinas flight arrived on Monday at Ezeiza Airport, carrying 800,000 doses of Sputnik V vaccines, from Russia.

With the 864,000 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine that had arrived this Sunday on a regular KLM flight, some 1.6 million doses reached the country over the past 30 hours, taking the total up to 8,932,600 doses so far.

AstraZeneca vaccines come as part of the COVAX program of the World Health Organisation, which is mainly funded by European countries such as Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands.
