"Bring Argentine Flags" - libertarian asks RAE ARGENTINA TO THE WORLD

Milei summons citizens to his inauguration

Javier Milei is finalizing his cabinet four days before assuming the presidency of Argentina.

Staying in a hotel in downtown Buenos Aires since he won the elections on October 22, the economist has been holding constant meetings to form his government.

In the last 48 hours, names were announced for the Ministry of Defense, the AFIP tax agency and the Central Bank, among other areas.

In this context, Milei received yesterday his future Minister of Economy, Luis Caputo.

Upon leaving the Libertador Hotel in the Argentinean capital, the latter declared that the next administration "will receive the worst economic inheritance in Argentine history".

To all this, the president-elect called on social networks to listen to his speech at the door of the Parliament, after the swearing-in ceremony on Sunday.

"Bring your Argentine flag" Milei asks his followers in his message.

Among confirmed foreign visitors at the inauguration are the presidents of Uruguay, Paraguay and Ecuador, among others.

Brazil's Lula da Silva announced that he will not travel and that he will send his foreign minister to represent him.

Who will be in Buenos Aires on Sunday will be his predecessor and fierce rival: Jair Bolsonaro, whom Milei repeatedly praised.
