RAE ARGENTINA TO THE WORLD

Argentine-made sanitizing gel will be available in public transportation

Argentine scientists have created a sanitizer called PHMG, that has a high ability to inactivate the Sars-COV2 virus that produces Covid 19, as well as other viruses.

The Malbrán Institute of Buenos Aires City has already carried out the corresponding studies and recommended its application, which began last week on commuting trains serving the capital's metropolitan area.

According to Health Minister Ginés González García, "cutting down the viral load in the public transport system will allow for progressively easing down restrictions".

According to what has been reported, the product has an "important" inactivation power against viruses such as Hepatitis (A and B), HIV, Influenza, Norovirus, Adenovirus or Rotavirus.

Also with bacteria such as Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus, Salmonella, Mycobacterium, Tuberculosis, and in various fungi.

The product can be preserved for up to two years in dilution. Unlike bleach, it doesn't cause stains and is impervious to sunlight.
